Hazard Vulnerability Analysis A Hazard Vulnerability Analysis is performed by the Safety Officer to identify areas of vulnerability so that provisions may be undertaken to lessen the severity and/or impact of a disaster. During the Hazard Vulnerability Analysis the following are considered potential emergencies for this hospital: Tornadoes Severe weather Chemical/Biological Mass causality incidents Bomb threat Priorities are established from the hazard vulnerability analysis for which mitigation, preparation, response and recovery activities will need to be undertaken.
